The study regulations and the course catalog specify for each module in which of these examinationperiods the relevant module examinations take place. By enrolling for a module, the student is automatically registered for the module examination.
No written invitations to written examinations are sent out.
There is one examination date and one revision date per module. These are published on the MNF website.
The examination schedules for Chemistry and Business Chemistry are listed here.

Students can deregister from modules and examinations online up to the specified deregistration deadline. This deadline is announced in the course catalog. For the Master's examination, students must deregister directly with the person responsible (up to 10 days before the examination date).
Cancellation after the specified date is only possible for proven, compelling reasons. The relevant documents (medical certificate etc.) must be entered in the student portal no later than 5 days after the examination date. Otherwise, the missed examinations will be counted as failed.
By taking an examination, you confirm that you are sufficiently healthy and feel able to take the examination. Subsequent notification of illness after completing an examination will not be accepted. The faculty reserves the right to conduct a medical examination.
Exam results can be viewed in your own account in the summary of credits as soon as they are known.
If you fail in an exam you can either take your 2nd attempt at the retake date or you can book the module again in a later semester. You have 2 attempts to pass a module.
Registration for a repetition exam is done via the student portal. In the "Modules" app, select "Repetition exam registration". Note the registration deadline, which is Thursday of calendar week 32 (midnight) for both fall semester and spring semester modules. You can change your registrations at any time up to the registration deadline.
If this examination date is not taken, the entire module must be repeated.
The relevant module coordinators are responsible for assessments other than module examinations. They determine the modalities and scope of the assessments, which are published in the course catalog. Assessments other than module examinations can also be graded.
The dates for oral examinations are set by the module coordinator. Students will be informed of the dates of oral examinations at least three weeks before the examination.
Students who are unable to participate in a performance assessment of a different kind for health or other important reasons must notify the module coordinator immediately, who will ensure that the performance assessment can be made up for.
