PhD

The completed Master's degree is the prerequisite for further PhD studies. The program primarily involves independent research work, the PhD thesis, but also attendance at additional courses, seminars and conferences that promote independent thinking and in-depth knowledge of chemistry. The organization of the PhD studies is largely left to the PhD students. With the PhD, students acquire the ability to independently approach and solve a problem in theory and practice. This enables them to subsequently take on independent research tasks. The degree is completed with a PhD (Dr. sc. nat. = PhD). The regulations for the PhD studies can be found here.
