Career Prospects

The chemistry course is not a vocational training course, but a scientific course of study with a view to the requirements of research. During your studies, you will primarily acquire theoretical and practical specialist knowledge. Additional skills such as systematic thinking, identifying problems and developing creative solutions are also promoted during the course. The skills acquired in this way can be applied in many professional fields.

Entry into professional life, usually after the doctorate or, more rarely, after the Master's degree, requires initiative and often also an orientation phase.
