We invite applications for ERC Starting Grants 2026
The Department of Chemistry invites applications from candidates intending to apply for Starting Grants of the European Research Council (ERC). At the University of Zurich, ERC Starting Grantees have assistant professor status (non-tenure track), and the Department of Chemistry aims to identify candidates to be supported for the ERC application in an interview round.
For interested candidates: Find below the schedule of the Department of Chemistry:
August 17th, 2025, 17:00: Deadline for the Applicants to submit the Cover letter, CV and a 5-page research proposal in one PDF file only under the following link: Application
August 27th, 2025: Candidates are informed whether they will be invited for an interview (interview via zoom).
September 5th, 2025: morning time/early afternoon: interviews via zoom.
Expectations for the interview: 20 min presentation, 20 min interview.
