We invite applications for SNSF Starting Grants 2026.
The Department of Chemistry invites applications from candidates intending to apply for Starting Grants of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). At the University of Zurich, SNSF Starting Grant recipients have assistant professor status (non-tenure track), and the Department of Chemistry aims to identify candidates to be supported in an interview round.
For applicants for the Department of Chemistry please be aware of the following time schedule:
Thursday, March 12th, 2026, 17:00: Deadline for Applicants
Friday, March 20th, 2026: Candidates will be informed
Tuesday, March 31st, 2026: Zoom Interviews
Expectations for the interview: 20 min presentation, 20 min interview.
Thursday, April 2nd, 2026: Candidates will be informed
Tuesday, May 5th, 2026: Deadline at the SNF
