SNSF Starting Grants: Call 2025

The SNSF will launch the SNSF Starting Grants 2025 on 15 October 2024 with a submission deadline of 15 January 2025. Interested researchers can now access the SNSF Starting Grants 2025 call document here (PDF). The Department of Chemistry invites applications from candidates intending to apply for Starting Grants of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). At the University of Zurich, SNSF Starting Grantees have assistant professor status (non-tenure track), and the Department of Chemistry aims to identify candidates to be supported for the SNSF application in an interview round.

For interested candidates: Find below the schedule of the Department of Chemistry:

• October 31^st, 2024, 17:00:  Deadline for the Applicants to submit to the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Cover letter, CV, 5-page research proposal
• November 13^th, 2024: Candidates are informed whether they will be invited for an interview (via zoom)
• November 21^st , 2024: morning time/early afternoon: interviews via zoom. 
  Expectations for the interview: 20 min presentation, 20 min interview.
