The registration is for free (see Sponsors for financial support)
Eligible participants for the conference are Postdocs and also Professors and Privatdozenten mainly from the UZH and ETHZ, but also from other affiliations in Switzerland. The places for participants are limited.
All participants must register by the 8 August, 2016. Please use the registration form provided below. After submitting this form, you will receive a confirmation email and your registration will be considered definitive.
All postdoctoral fellows must actively participate at the Post-Doc-Day by presenting their research, either by a short talk, flash poster or poster presentation. Postdoc participants must provide a research abstract by 8 August, 2016 the latest (see below).
Oral and poster presentations
The participants will have the opportunity to present their current research in short talks of 15 minutes. The participants that apply for short talks will be selected according to their research field and provided abstract of their research work. Those participants not elected to give a talk have the opportunity to present a poster during the flash-poster presentations (2.5 min) or the poster session in the afternoon, respectively. The talks and poster presentations should cover on-going projects and projects in the stage of experimental design from postdoctoral researchers.
Respective abstracts have to be submitted by email. Please download the abstract template from this website and send us your abstract for the Book of Abstracts until 8 August, 2016 to Post-Doc-Day. The committee will decide on oral contributions by mid of September, 2016.
The best short talk, flash poster and poster presentation will be awarded!
