Research project

For the single-molecule FRET studies we do in our lab, we need site-specifically labeled fluorescent RNAs. I am working on finding and establishing new ways to achieve this with both small and large ribozymes.

Behind the Lab Coat: My Inspirations and Passions

Year you joined the Sigel Lab: 2022
If I could visit anywhere, I would go to Canada or Japan in the winter to ski deep powder.
Class or teacher that inspired me: My Ph.D. advisor Lena Daumann showed me how to be a great leader in science!
Outside of the lab, I enjoy Ski tours, mountaineering, and spending time with my kid!
