Dr. Sandro Olveira

Dr. Sandro Olveira graduated in 2010 with excellent grades in Business Chemistry from UZH, and earned his PhD in 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Seeger. Since then, he has been an integral part of the Business Chemistry program, working as a supervisor and assistant for lectures and master's theses. He has also contributed significantly to the expansion and development of the curriculum, initially as a postdoc, then as an Oberassistent (2016-2019), and since 2019 as a Wissenschaflicher Mitarbeiter.
With the appointment as Lecturer Teaching for Business Chemistry in 2023, Dr. Olveira’s commitment to this field remains secure. Additionally, to bolster Sandro’s research endeavors in Sustainable Chemistry, the position is complemented by a PhD position.
